$100K makeover - that's a budget?

I wish I had $100K for a home makeover....actually, I wish I could just go 'shopping' in all the goodies that the WH has in storage to furnish my home. How cool would that be? Just a few pieces....

I sometimes watch decorating shows and am just flabbergasted at the amounts people spend on one room! This is a whole 'house' so to speak, so it's probably not that much...but boy...what I could do to my house with $100K...for that matter, what I could do for it with $10K...

It will be fun to see what they do with it...I can't wait to see the girls' rooms...IKEA has been mentioned and they have terrific stuff for kids....then you can SPEND on the parents and main living areas.

I thought India Hicks had some wonderful ideas. Personally, I lean more towards Rachel Ashwell.

Lol, even Fox News is saying that this is an "affordable" makeover!

Yeah, it would be great if the rich made greater donations or were taxed more, but that would be...SOCIALISM. Or something.

Not that I have $100K to throw around, but really, for a house as big as the White House, it's not a lot. Normal kitchen renovations often go for half of that.

If a news story breaks and no one on the Internet comments, did it really happen?
