Instead of a dutch oven...

Do you think I can get away with just a round pan instead of a dutch oven in this recipe for a cherry clafouti? I really don't want to go out and buy one only to never use it again.

You don't need a dutch oven or any special pan for a clafoutis. You can make a clafoutis in any cast-iron pan, a gratin dish, or even a pie plate.
But a dutch oven is infinitely useful, especially now that it's cold. So, I doubt you'd never use it again.
