Yes, please both of you let us know how your plopping comes out and how you did it-- with what kind of towel and for how long... I know there are threads on this but I don't know how many 3b and curlier types plop. I am just getting the hang of it; maybe.

    Hey Urban!

I tried the plopping and it took a LOT of the water out! I was shocked and my hair was dry about an hour later. The curls were very bouncy where there was actually curl formation. I did kinda skip on the product though, so it turned out a little frizzy in a few places. I can't wait to try this with the devacare OC and devacurl SIF! I have a feeling it'll be good :D

So how long did you plop for?? If you say only 20 minutes, and then your hair was dry an hour later, you are SO lucky!

I'm glad you got good results so far! I do think that your hair will like the Deva products too.

Thanks. My hair is definitely really different. I am used to HUGE hair. So the natural air dry flatness just doesn't do it for me. YEt, anyways. I am really interested to see how the top turns out after a few weeks. It is so straight on top from the weight. I recently got layers in my hair, so that will help too. :)

I tried plopping for the first time last week using Curls Rock Curl Amplifier and it turned out amazing. It does take some practice to get the towel secured properly.

My boyfriend of over a year was pretty impressed too. Actually he asked me if I curled my hair! I reminded him it was natural...he said he knew that but he had never seen it look so curly and nice.

You can buy the Curls Rock Amplifier at any hair salon that carries the Catwalk line. I originally bought it at a trade show, but now I am on my third bottle. I live in Canada and it runs between $19-$22.

My hair turned out HORRIBLE today. I didn't use poo today, so I have the flakies again. Oh, and it is so frizzy. Yuck.
