Friend or foe?

It's a foe for me if it's a brown headband! It either squeezes the crap out of my head or my hair breaks it in half.

I have had luck with the thin elastic string ones. The others hurt my head.

The thin elastic ones give me such a headache, the thick elastic ones seem to pull my hair and the old school plastic give me pains behind my ears. I would say foe but.....I keep using them, so I am trying to make them my friends against their will per se'

Really? They give you a headache? I cannot even feel that I have one on and I have very sensitive skin.

These are the ones I wear:

I have also seen new headbands with big cushions on the tips. They look like a big improvement from the old cushions. I may try those in the future.

The elastic ones, scarves, cloth headbands that tie are not an issue. Only the hard old school headbands. Kinanamo1, I'm like you! It's like I want to make them work! I have found a few that don't pinch my skull, but I can't figure out why my hair always BREAKS the brown headbands...it's the craziest thing I have ever seen!

    LOL!!!

I'm trying to salvage them, I really am. Cehua, the ones I have are not round like that. They are kinda flat looking. Sorry couldn't find a pic of them. I usually have to tie them around twice because if I don't, the head bands will not stay on so maybe that is the problem. Curlilocs, I just end up snatching the plastic ones off my head after readjusting them so much. I don't wear the elastic ones too often because as I said before, they pull at my hair (the hairline). And yes ladies, I have tried the panty hose method and all I can say is my hips no longer match my head!!!
