    I slacked off on the whole log thing, but managed to keep the old exercise routine going for a few weeks .... then sadly slacked off again.

    I've started exercising again ....

    Thursday 7/13 - 1.5 hrs of Anusara yoga
    Friday 7/14 - 1.5 hrs of Anusara yoga
    Saturday - off
    Sunday 7/16 - 1 hr of mat pilates

    My goal is to exercise 5 days a week, with two non-consecutive days off

    I was away this past weekend, so I wasn't able to exercise. Oh yeah, and most of northwest Queens had no electricity for the past week, so I couldn't have gone anyway. Grrrrrrr.

    Anyway, today I did one hour of mat pilates. Fun!:)

    Just wanted to butt in and say your log looks great! I am a cardio nut but would really like to do some more yoga in my routine. Good for you for taking charge of your health...and being accountable about it here :D

    Aww thank you :) I needed to shame myself into exercising more :twisted:

    I'm really loving yoga. It's hard work but it feels so wonderful. Pilates is kicking my butt too (well, my gut really).

    7/25 - had to look at an apartment so I wasn't able to go to class
    7/26 - my regular "off" day. There aren't any classes that are appropriate for me on Wednesdays, unfortunately

    LOL! I know what you mean about Pilates kicking your gut. I just finished one of my DVD's and I can already feel my core--think I'm going to be sore tomorrow! But its a good feeling--like I can tell I'm getting stronger.
