just wondering if anyone has tried the new hotrollers with the heated clips? They're by Remington and they look like they would make great holiday hair - just bigger, thicker curls - just wondering if anyone has had any luck????
thanks!

really? I've used the "old fashion" ones before and I think they're great for curly hair ... oddly enough! :)

I use hot rollers occassionally. I use a curl cream and blow dry my hair so its straighter. I also use the larger rollers. They give me big smooth curls that last all day. I like them since they dont get as hot as a curling iron does.

I havent tried the set you mention but I perfer that the roller have some type of protection between the hot plastic and my hair. Mine are velvet lined.

I use hot rollers often. They enhance my curl on the days I need it and I just like the way my hair looks after using them.
2/b-2/c - I shampoo daily with non-sulfate shampoos - right now am *loving* L'Oreal Everpure shampoo and conditioner
For styling: homemade flax seed gel, Curl Keeper, and/or KCCC
    Current favorite product: *KCCC*!!

I do pretty much the same - I keep my hair shorter now, and I like using them to smooth the curl a bit and get bigger curls, it's sort of fun to do for a "different" look :)
I usually use something with velcro or a fabric lined one - like the older version - that's why I asked about these, they're just plastic and heated....
it's fun to play - when there's time! and for those of you with longer hair - you're pretty amazing! I have a bob-cut (and love the length!) but it takes a while just to do that amount of hair...
