Spiral waves?

HeatherDawnHeatherDawn Posts: 300Registered Users
Hey girls! Anyone else think they are a wavy, but end up with spirals at the ends? I have been CG for about two weeks now and have noticed that my first day hair is spiraling, but the second day hair is wavy with just the underside curly. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes, I have been getting some fat spirals at the ends of my hair, on the underneath layer mostly. Weird formations on my hair lately, I've got like a gigantic strong wave all around my head on the canopy, and underneath and sides are wavier. I also get one ringlet on either side of my face.

I'm kinda lurking in the 2C thread because I'm beginning to think I'm more 2C than 2B.

Anyway, I sometimes have spiral curls underneath as well as some at my temples (I have layers). It seems to depend on what products I use as well as the weather. I just know that they're usually smooth and I wish the underneath part of my hair was my canopy!

Ohhh, I know exactly what you mean!

Yeah exactly! And the weather is really key too. Isn't hair weird? But I'm glad I've given up on straightening, because you can imagine how silly ringlet sides look with otherwise straightish hair!

I know! Me too. I get tons of ringlets underneath, but my canopy just doesn't want to follow suit!

I just got a liter of CK, so I feel better about using more of it :D . Last night, I put my hair up to take a shower and once again was amazed at how soft, curly and shiny it is underneath  . I usually put my products in bending over. So, after co-washing, I decided to try this morning to put my CK in as usual bending over, but then stood up as well and put alot on the topside instead of just raking it bending over. Is this making sense  ? Basically, I tried to put equal amounts both under and over instead of mainly under and then scrunching.

I just got some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]Re:coil[/buylink] off the swap board and am still playing around with it mixed with other things. But I'm hoping using more of the CK will help the topside/canopy feel and behave more like the underneath.
