How often do you use Vitamin C on your face?

I have a pretty strong vitamin c night serum that I use, but how many nights a week should I use it?

    Do you have sensitive skin?

I was going to try using it every other day -- at least until Thanksgiving ;) (I've got to look good). I guess that's not too often!

If you are new to Vitamin C it would be best to use it every other day for awhile until you see how your skin reacts....Vitamin C is best used during the day.

Because it helps with sun damage and also gives your skin a nice glow.

So those effects would be wasted if you were to use it at night.

I love Jessicurl HCC, Jessicurl Too Shea, KCKT, KCCC, CK and HESMU...but it took a LOT of trial error to get to these products that consistently work for ME.

But it glows the next day.. and feels oh so soft too!

When you say it helps with sun damage (during the day) you mean like as in the way a spf does? :dontknow:

    I don't know for sure.....

I remember RCW mentioning that it helped undo some sun damage. I think she also said that it sort acted as a natural SPF. But I don't think that it's enough protection to forgo sunscreen.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant so it helps to prevent skin cell damage (from the sun or whatnot) but like alisons79 said, I wouldn't skip the sunscreen.

While I don't really like Paula's prodcust, she does give some good info on vitamin C in skincare here: http://www.cosmeticscop.com/skin-care-facts-vitamin-c-real-benefits-topical-treatment.aspx

I still plan to use mine at night... besides, I feel like I smell like an orange when I put it on and I don't want to walk around feeling like I'm smelling like an orange :)

Well I went online and read the tips for use for my vit c and it suggested using it a few nights a week. The container says it's a 10%.

I like the PSF but prior to that I used various versions of the Skinceuticals C products which I also liked. I think the PSF is less costly and the ingredients are very simple..which I like.
