Help going CG?

My hair is 3a/3b depending on its mood, and I'd really like to start CG. My hair is very fine, blond, and falls right below my shoulders. I've started plopping and have noticed a huge difference in my curls and I've decided CG is the next move. Are there any products that I should definitely try? I am open to anything

Definitely check out the product review section. Most of those are ok for CG.

Just remember to clarify and start out slow. Good luck!

Here's a site that has a list of CG products: http://healthycurls.awardspace.com/free.html

Some current popular products include: Fruit of the Earth (FOTE) aloe vera gel, Curly Hair Solutions CK, KBB Hair Milk and/or Nectar, organic shampoo bars, Loreal Vive Pro conditioner (pink bottle), and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]Kinky-Curly Curling Custard[/buylink].

To start out, pick a cone-free conditioner (to cowash with and to leave-in), and a gel. Try them for a couple of weeks while your hair adjusts to CG, which can take 4 - 6 weeks. By that time you will probably want to experiment with different products as you try to figure out just what your hair needs. Keep reading and good luck!

The bolded are not generally considered CG because they build up easily and require a sulfate to remove. They're basically petroleum.

I just started going CG a couple weeks ago and picked up the Nuxxus Humectress as my condish. I guess I'll have to keep looking.

I never had luck with Nexxus Humectress...possibly due to the petroleum in it. Also, the wheat proteins don't sit well with me either.
That's right, I said it! I wear scrunchies!!

I am a sulfate washing, cone slabbing, curly lovin' s.o.b. The CG police haven't caught me yet.

I love the VO5 conditioners...they are cheap and very effective for CO washing.
