DTs?

Do any of you have a favorite relatively inexpensive DT? My hair has adjusted miraculously fast to CG; it's no longer greasy at all and is slowly but surely getting some clumping and better definition - and now with the cold dry weather coming I'd like to get a DT routine down.

Thanks, ladies (and gentlemen, if we have any wavy gentlemen on this board...)

I recently had good luck with the generic Biolage Conditioning balm from Sally's. I'm not in love, but it seemed to get the job done. :) I'm waiting to try a DT with my KBB products when they arrive!!

I was using that, but it turns out I am protein sensitive, so my hair went berserk and terrible. I probably should have mentioned that when I was asking. Thanks, though.

    I use olive oil/conditioner or coconut oil/honey/conditioner.

I use olive oil/conditioner too. Sometimes I add honey to it.

Wait! I'm so confused! I was told the Sally's Biolage Conditioning Hydrating Balm was protein free?
    Type: Course & thick. According to everyone's input, 2c w/ 3a potential.
Color: Brown w/ highlights & annoying grays which I color.
    Length: Past shoulders w/ layers.
Issues: Dryness, knots & more dryness!
    Poo: Deva Lo-Poo 1 x week, Clarify 1-2 x month
CO Wash: Suave Tropical Coconut (but looking for something else b/c I suspect protein issues)
    Condish: GVPCB, LVPNG
Leave-Ins: Was loving KBB Milk & Nectar, but overused them. Usually just leave-in some of what I CO with.
    Styling: Biolage Gelee

I have no idea if it is or not, now. I thought that's what'd caused my protein problem, then realized that one of the V05's I tried had collagen in it, which was certainly part of the problem, but someone else told me the Biolage has protein in it and THAT was the problem. So, erm, I don't know. I asked on another board here and different people seemedt o have different ingredient lists.

Same tip as above but a few different ingredients. I make a DT with Suave Vanilla Floral conditioner (half cup) and add approximately a tablespoon each of the following: grapeseed oil, honey, and sweet almond oil. Smells yummy and rinses easily. Coconut and olive oil were too heavy for my hair. Hope that helps.
