Subbrock's hair is indeed the bomb!

The first curly album I found and I've been stalking it ever since!

I got my hair done in a fro-hawk today and I used her pics for inspiration! :)

Oh, wow, ITA with everyone! Your hair is looking fantastic. I love your curls, especially in the pic where you're in the car. Were you really driving?!

How do you get the sides so smooth and frizz-free when you pull your hair back?

And it looks so nice straight too.

heck yeah i was really driving! well i was at a stop light.

my sides and top layer of my hair have a much looser curl so its easy for me to not have frizz when i pull my hair back. plus i use gel!!!

i added another pic of my hair today too by the way

Didnt mean to guano Subbrock's hair praise thread, but as soon as I saw her fro-hawk in her album, I SWORE I was gonna wear it one day! As soon as I had the opportunity, I was gonna do it!

And I did it! The AKAs had a fashion show, I got in it, and I wore it! Her pictures were the first ones I looked at when I was trying to decide how I wanted it to look! I didnt have the lightening bolt earrings, though. ;)

 What are using to get that gorgeous shine?
  • Curlee QCurlee Q Posts: 523Registered Users
Shes uses Veggie glycerin, I started using it also from looking at her site
  • DelmaDelma Posts: 1,121Registered Users
where do you get veggie glycerin?
  • Curlee QCurlee Q Posts: 523Registered Users
I got mine at a natural health food store.
  • DelmaDelma Posts: 1,121Registered Users
Thank you curleeq your hair is beautiful and shine as well. :D
Could you tell me how you apply this?
  • Curlee QCurlee Q Posts: 523Registered Users
I apply like subbrock does for the most part. I put in my leave in, then pour some veggie glycerin in my hand and apply it to my hair, then my gel. It leaves the shine and also moisturizes hair. You might have to find the right amount for your hair, if you use too much and can be on the sticky side.

    Thanks for the compliment :D
