Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate

I read a post by someone who said they got rid of their chest and back acne by eliminating anything that had sodium laureth or lauryl sulfate in it... however, I cannot find the post anywhere! I looked at the products I have in my shower and EVERYTHING has either one or the other of those ingredients. I am just curious if anyone knows of any shampoos/conditioners or body washes that do not have these ingredients. Thank you!:toothy7:
cowash: Tresemme Naturals
rinse out: Garnier Triple Nutrition
Leave in: Suave naturals, whichever scent I'm into at the moment
gel: Garnier Fructis or LA Looks

Can't recommend much because I think you're in the US and different products etc. But products geared towards sensitive skin will have less and sometimes no SLS. Also organic/natural products sometimes have little to none as well. HTH

All of the products identified as "low poo" on the various posts here would qualify as sulfate free. You can use shampoo as body wash but generally don't want to use body wash as shampoo and it may be easier to find shampoos. I really like the Trader Joes Refresh, the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Come-Clean-Moisturizing-Shampoo-p-844.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Kinky-Curly-Come-Clean-Moisturizing-Shampoo]Kinky Curly Come Clean[/buylink] and the Dr Bronners Shikakai cleansers as body wash but there are lots of others that may work for you. By the way, my skin improved dramatically when I eliminated sulfates.

    Good luck,

Favorites: Anything from Curly Kinks...their system is my new holy grail. Still liking Juice Organics Orange and TJ Refresh Conditioners as all purpose co-wash and rinse outs.

Here are a few SLS-free brands that I've tried. Right now I'm using Enfusia and Chagrin soaps, AO conditioner, and Desert Essence lotion.

You can find Aubrey, Jason and DE products at The Vitamin Shoppe, Whole Foods, HEB, or a health food store. CV stuff is only available through their website (but they have cheap, fast shipping). I've seen Enfusia in HEB but it's made locally, so I don't know if it is carried in all stores.
