I was looking at Cyndi's thread about her first drawing and it made me want to see what everyone else here can do.

I did this last semester for my drawing class. It is on 18"x24" paper so it is pretty big.

That drawing is awesome. I can't draw worth a dang. But since we are sharing artwork, I will share my ATC I made. In case you don't know: atc = artist trading card. These small pieces of art are the size of a playing card. That's the only "rule". Otherwise, do whatever you want.

Here's one of my faves. The gold man is from a Toad the Wet Sprocket cd cover. The background was made using alcohol inks. The lyrics are from one of my fave songs that Toad does.

That is really cool ScrappyTam I have never heard of an artist trading card before. It kind of reminds me of something you would see on Postsecret.

Don't know if this is appropriate. I am a crafter--do beaded knitting. Yesterday, I found out that I was accepted at my first juried show. It's actually my first show! Here's a link to my Artist's Page at my primary gallery. It's a cooperative gallery and I had to be juried in to that, too.

I have been getting into photography...

I have two pictures which are my favorites, and they're only slightly different, so here's one of them. My friend Keaton's guitar:

This is what I spend my free time doing, trying to make a little extra money on the side (I'm a SAHM). I hand paint artificial fingernails that people can apply themselves for special occasions or everyday (I wear them all the time). This is just a sampling of my works.

I apologize for my web address being embedded into the pics - I do that so nobody on other nail sites can claim it as theirs, although my photography style is hard to duplicate, so it wouldn't be easy for them to get away with.

My artwork is limited to mostly Post-notes (weird, I know)

I've been trying to post pics and keep getting the red 'x'.....hope these come out okay:

I took a couple of art classes a couple of years ago, but felt like I really struggled. I have hard times with color and stuff like painting, art terminology and shading. I can't draw landscapes or stuff like furniture/room interiors. I feel like I should be doing SOMETHING with these, but just don't know what.

Sorry if this post came out too horizontal; I don't know how to fix it!

I LOOOOOVE the nails! (Actually I love everything posted here!)

I dabble in nail art, myself. AND knitting/crocheting. But the thing I produce most are the post-it notes. I more or less draw continuously on them at work--just about everything pictured above was done at work. I HAVE sketchbooks, but I don't enjoy drawing in them as much.

These are from back in high school.. I don't think I have anything recent photographed actually. I should get on that.

In the nude one, only the drawing is mine, not the funky sculptures on the side. :tongue5:

Fun to see everyone else's too! :)

It's nice to see so many other talented peoples' work here. Oh to the post-it doodler.. I think on flickr there are a few groups dedicated to post-it doodles.

This is fun.. I love seeing everbody's stuff! :love5:

I think I posted this one before, it's a necklace I did for a silent auction:
sterling, shell, lampworked focal bead, swarovski, etc:
    Picture052.jpg

    This is a close-up of a windchime
I did for a friend. It's huge, about 3 feet long and has stained glass, copper, beads,
    charms, antique skeleton keys,
    wire work, etc:

    chime1.jpg

These pics are awful, but here is another
necklace/earrings I did for another silent
    auction. Kyanite, sterling, lampwork,
    swarovski crystal, etc:

Lauraloo: Was that picture from a park in Cincinnati? My parents are from there and I go there often. It looks very familiar.
