Jojoba Jelly-love it!!

Well, I got it today and couldn't wait to try it....

I posted this review under "product reviews" also... and now that my hair has completely dried this is a keeper. Great as a summer styler since it's lighter thatn [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink], but sooo moisturizing! Not a replacement, but definitely makes it into my rotation...

The consistency is more gel-like than [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. It's also clear which I like. I also like the smell alot better than [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. It's more a fresh clean scent rather than an edible one

But the Jelly really does not have as much hold as the Custard which was expected from what I've read in the past reviews. I did use some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl keeper[/buylink] over it( I use it over everything) which may have added just a little hold. My hair is so soft, though, no crunch and has this natural curl definition to it.

I co. washed with and left in a little Jessicurl Too Shea and then applied by raking though with my fingers(I have a twa); then I raked in some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl keeper[/buylink] over it. Like I said, soft, natural curl and shine. I can tell this has great potential with maybe a heavier gel over it(Fantasia?). Any suggestions from those who are j. jelly lovers??

I really want to try this now! Is it more moisturizing than the CC?

I would only say it's more moisturizing if not the same , cuz it has a more naturally soft/moist feel to it, but not gooey(sometimes I get that slippery wet/gooey feel w/ CC). I felt that I needed to use a little more jj than I would with CC, but it's 10$ cheaper. Most importantly, it's by no means crispy at all!!

Those of you that like it, you better stock up because this batch is a "limited edition" batch. On another thread, someone posted about how Shelley(the owner of Kinky-Curly) was having problems duplicating this product with other chemists. Her original chemist works for another company now and this person was the only one who could make the JJ the way she wanted it. Before the chemist began working for another company, he made another batch. This is the batch being sold here in CURLmart. So, basically you guys better jump on it because once it's sold out, it may be a LONG time before you see it again.
