Cheap Conditioner Recommendations

I used to love suave humectant, but now I find it a bit drying on my hair so I need to look for another conditioner that is $10.00 and under. I would like something that is moisturizing and detangling and something I can get from walmart or my local drugstore. I also like herbal essence but sometimes the smell gets to me.

Suave (Lavender, coconut, waterfall mist, vanilla floral), V05 moisture milks (blueberry, peaches and creme) for co washes

Suave color co for regular co. I have also used Loreal in the orange bottle successfully.

That's all I can think of for now.....

I agree... I love the Suave Milk and Honey...but I tried a cheap Cholestorol conditioner 3 weeks ago, and I've been using it ever since. My hair has never felt better! I get it from Sally's...It comes in a jar, and the major ingredients are shea butter, mango butter and aloe vera. It makes detangling incredibly easy and leaves my hair very soft. It only costs 2.39...I think its called Lustrasilk. My hair loves it.

I just wanted to add a reccomendation for Suave awapahui. It's my daily leave-in and while I get sick of it from time to time, the only thing comparable I have found was VS Sassoon's leave conditioner and the VS line is discontinued.

You can also make a homemade conditioner using Castor Oil.

My dorm-mate uses it religiously and i have just begun using it and love it.

I use it to deep condition and as a leave-in.

SUAVE ALOE!!!! I have tried many of the suave formulas/scents, and this is the most moisturizing by far! I promise! The Aloe Vera in it is very very moisturizing! It's like lotion for you hair!

I've used Jason's Sea Kelp conditioner..... and also Giovanni's Smooth as Silk and they were both under $10

I use elucence which I know is not under $10 but I used to use suave before and the amount I had to put on my hair for me to detangle well made me go through a bottle in about5/6 days (If I CW everyday). The Elucence costs more but lasts me about 3 months because I don't have to use as much....and ends up costing the same as the huge bottle of Suave I would buy every week.

I swear on the life of my best friend's future spouse ...

that Suave BioBasics is the best detangling leave-in you will ever find... If you find that need extra moisture, you can add a teeny bit of oil or aloe vera to it.

I really like it because i have lots of difficult hair that knots/tangles easily and this is the only thing that separates my hair without hurting it (or the comb)!

    HTH!

LOL, ok. I'll definitely look out for it because detangling is very important to me.

SHHHH! I've having a hard enough time finding this in Walmart as is. It's almost always sold out by the time I get to it on the weekends. LOL!

I also love Aussie Moist, 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep conditioner, and Tresemme Vitamin E moisture rich conditioner. All of them are cheap and leave my hair feeling like butter.

How did I miss this thread, being queen of the "inexpensive" conditioner...LOL...my favs are VO5 Moisture Milks and Suave Milk and Honey! I use them for daily conditioner rinses, there's not as much slip as say with Elucence but it's enough for me...LOVE 'EM!
