Being broke is good for hair growth

Can't afford to get a cut so I'll have to let it grow a while longer.

I allow myself some "fun money" in my budget every month and I keep finding other things to spend it on before I can schedule a haircut, so I guess you're right. :)

I keep thinking: haircut + tip = several days worth of groceries, ya know?

I don't have splitends so I'm not in crisis mode. ;)

I on the other hand am in crisis mode... I tried to save money and cut it myself about a month ago, trying to change my V-shape in the back to a shallow U-shape ... but thanks to that hack-job I can't even wear it down anymore because it looks too frumpy. so I'm getting it fixed on Thursday. hopefully no major change in length just layer and shape cleanup. but I know what you mean with $$. there is so much I could buy with that money instead, or I could save it... the last thing I want to be spending money on right now is a haircut.

That's great! So,there's no reason for you to pick up the scissors.

    Yep, no reason to cut.

    Tmmy_cat,
I've had to go to hairdressers too many times to count because I tried to save money and do it myself. I feel your pain there. I'm learning to just put the scissors down and wear it up or leave it alone. Somethings are hard to grow out but atleast you know it will grow.

yes, definitely good advice. that's my goal next time!! I need to hide my scissors! I definitely did a lot more harm than good ... I could have easily gone another few months without a haircut if I had just put the scissors down.... :P
