Boots Pink Curl Cream vs Kurly Curls

Well I have tried unsucessfully to purchase Boots Pink Curl Cream. Is it impossible to buy in the US?

I do see you can get Kuly Curl Curl Custard.

What is the difference in the two?

I use Aloe Vera Gel with some Bio Silk Rock hard Gelle. I washed with Suave Co**** shampoo and conditioned with Vo5 Milk. I plumped and Pixiecurl dried. I had rocking hair. Just trying to fight the frizz. Especially the next day frizz.

I pineappled with a silk bonnet. Uses water and AVG next day. Still dry frizz spots.

I was hoping the BPCC would help this but I can't find it.

Suggestions?

AVG and water just make my hair bigger.

Pink Boots is a curl creme that many on this site like. After my first experience, it really didn't do much for me. I think it's similar to LOOB. If you do a search, you will find the link to britsuperstore, where you can buy it. The product is cheap and the shipping is high.

On the other hand, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]Kinky Curly Curling Custard[/buylink] is a very unique product. I always thought of it as a curling custard, rather than a creme. I frequently see people refer to it as a gel. It is made with pectin and does have a gelatinous appearance. It is a "natural" product and works for all different hair types. It's one of the current "it" products. I get very tight curls with a lot of shrinkage when I use it.

I like the Boots curl cream and the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] both but I think I get better curls with the Boots. Despite the fact that I have to order from the UK I'll probably order it again. It was about $26 for 2 things of the Boots with shipping so the product is definitely cheap enough, it was the shipping that was costly. Both products give me great ringlets and both are definitely on my purchase again list, which won't be for a while since a little of each goes a long way.

My problem is around my face and bang area. Especially the next day. They are frizzy and I tried water and AVG. But I think the CK is making my hair knotty. It seams it gets almost crispy. Wondering if the Boots or [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] will soften this up and take away frizz.

Since I'm retired and usually have the time, I don't "settle" for second day hair. My first day hair is always much better. [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] has some gel like properties, so it would be better for smoothing. Better yet, would be KBB hair butter or cream. If you smooth a tiny bit on those areas before you go to sleep, it's possible that you hair might soak it up and be less frizzy.

In rereading your original post, I have some concerns. I think your Suave shampoo has sulfates. If you're only conditioning with VO5, you're not giving yourself the moisture it needs--which is contributing, if not causing your problems. You may want to to nopoo, or at least lowpoo.

Here's a thread with some useful links for you to read:

I thought I was lo pooing with Suave Coconut shampoo. I am so confused. I have the book and read it. I have been on the beginners site here. I thought I had everything down with the products. sigh

I thought Suave was a good product to use for a lopoo as well as VO5 Milk essetials condish. So what should I be using?

I have been reading alot really. Just when I think I have it I get more lost. Help!!!

I want lots of curls but shiny, clupmy and soft and smooth. This next day hair is knotty, frizzy and hard.

I think that's what everyone on this site would like.

This site has a lot of CG products and that's not on the list of drugstore shampoos. Some people use the VO5 and Suave conditioners (without cones) to cowash. The are a good cheap way to do that. They aren't moisturizing enough to use as your rinse out.

I started using more natural products a few weeks ago. My curls have been tighter, clumpier and less frizz. You can see what I use in my signature.
