Best places to get unrefined shea butter?

preciousjewel76preciousjewel76 Posts: 679Registered Users
Ladies, what online retailers would you recommend for high-quality, unrefined shea butter? I'm finishing up the last of a jar I ordered from Mountain Rose Herbs, and I need to restock. My skin loves shea butter, and I've especially been using it on my growing belly to help (I hope) prevent stretch marks.

Any suggestions other than Mountain Rose Herbs?

Thanks!

Slightly off topic, but my fiance makes and sells shea butter products that are scented. When I do give him a little one, I'm going to alternate between his shea butter and cocoa butter to avoid stretch marks. Just wanted to give you that tip Precious . He said all of his pregnant customers do that.

Gotcha. I actually do have some whipped cocoa butter from Chagrin Valley, and I use that sometimes as well. So far, so good!:thumbleft:

I typically buy all my oils and butters from Oils by Nature. I'll usually get a couple pounds of shea and cocoa butter and it tends to last me for at least year. I'm not really heavy handed with butters though.

I'm not sure if they are considered high quality or not, but they seem to work well for me.
