Hi All--

I was a member of this forum a loooong time ago (under a different name). Back before the existence of a curlmart, and the "must have" product for 4a hair was bb glass (sorry if I'm inaccurately recalling the name of this product). There was no "CG method then. Though I've continued to stick my head in here from time to time (since the release of CurlyGirl and the CG method of hair care). I'm thrilled to see so many more choices for ethnic curlies than there were back then!

I still lurk here, though. More frequently in the last year and a half since becoming a hair salon outlaw, and taking my haircare into my own hands.

I decided to register because I wanted to share a picture of what I consider really gorgeous hair. I needed to share it w/those I thought would appreciate it in it's big, fluffy glory--I just can't stop looking at this hair!

Am I wrong in thinking this is 4a-ish?

p.s. Also wanted to register to personally thank all that are so generous w/their hair care regimens, product recs., and photo blogs/journals!

I'd say more of a 3c as well. But regardless of the "typing", her curls are gorgeous! :)
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

I completely agree! Great and totally awesome hair no matter what "type."

Gemini12--I can't even knit and almost bought the magazine on the spot, to show my appreciation for the fact that they used this model on their cover!

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Wow her hair color and curls are really on point
I couldn't tell if the model was mixed or white (not that it matters)

Gorgeous curls and color. Her hair looks like 4a when stretched. Anyhoot I love that updo, I wish they showed diffrent angle so I could see the back and attempt to do it on me lol. And I like the red sweater with the silver belt lol

Hi mariag002--thanks for the warm welcome! I like to do that, too. My old posts are long gone, though. I was a member here several board looks ago. lol.

foxycus--I too tried to examine that updo from other angles. That would be a cute style on you, too (after peeking at your pics). ;)

    To everyone that responded--
Glad you all liked the pictures!
