can anyone cut curly hair in Ireland?

Apart from my mum that is LOL. Desperately need a stylist who doesn't cut my hair wet, in layers with a fine toothed comb. Gave my mum the CG book and she does a great job but could do with a professional version every now and then. Am in the Cork area but have to travel to Dublin with my job regularly so could manage a side trip.

I don't have any information on it... But i had to stop in and say how jealous I am of where you live :P

I do have a friend that lives way up in Omeath... I'll see if she's heard of any good places in Dublin, since she went to school there.

just not if you have very curly hair and need a stylist:wink:! To make you more jealous - am heading down to the wilds of West Cork to the Sheep's head peninsula to see my folks - at least I can get a trim whilst I'm admiring the view.

    yeah, I definitely hate you.

I've been lucky enough to go to Ireland twice in the past 2 years, but I've only seen the eastern cost (Dublin to Omeath, essentially, and a bit of Northern Ireland). I'd KILL to be able to go out towards Cork next time around (if I get to go again :( )

If you are, you can do the self layering cut in a pinch....I do it regularly, with great success for my hair type WET or DRY. Maybe you'll be able to do it, too...

A quick layered cut can be done by putting your hair in a high ponytail and cut it straight across, at whatever length you choose.

Just put your hair in a ponytail on top of your head. You just need to decide WHERE on the top of your head to put the ponytail. If you put the ponytail on top more towards the front, you'll get more layers around the face. If you put the ponytail at the farthest back point (what would be considered the end of a center part) you'll have longer layers in the front.
