Rou, peel or microdermabrasion...

lafeistlafeist Posts: 72Registered Users Curl Connoisseur
I have a kit of each but not sure when to use. I want the lactic acid peel to remove some red spots from old zits but not sure when to use microdermabrasion if I'm using a peel. Thanks.
Mostly 3B with some 3C. Faves :Sap Moss co and a weekly Sap Moss shampoo.

I'm very excited to try these. I bought the Olay Regenerist kit last night and will try it later today. New face for the new year!

Thanks. Tried the lactic acid peel and it was so nice! No burning or itching like the glycolic peels.

I tried it for the first time yesterday. It felt nice and peeled off all the dead flaky skin around my nose and mouth. Beyond that, it is probably too soon to tell. I'm going to try it twice a week for a month (or until my bottles run out) and see how I feel. So far, so good!

I've used my Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion kit three times so far and I have already noticed a difference.

Not so much with wrinkles or fine lines, but with discoloration and red spots from past acne. It has made a very visible difference in those things. I can't wait to see how my skin looks in a few more weeks!

I bought the 40% lactic peel at makeup artist choice.com. I added a micaroderm. treatment after a peel and the red marks faded even more. Probably not a good idea to do every time. When I run out of the 40% I think I'll try the 50% or 60% to see if they are as gentle feeling as the 40%

I'm confused -- does Avon make a lactic acid peel (is that the Avon peel that rou referred to)?- If not, is it only the artistchoice.com one that you are referring to? I don't know a good gentle brand of lactic acid peel, so I would appreciate the help/recs.
