Anyone interested in joinging Pinecone?

I know it has been mentioned here before. It's one of those paid survey deals. I got an email today saying they are opening registration, and gave me a referral link. I thought some might be interested, since it can be hard to find the Pinecone banner to join. I usually only get $3 per survey, but sometimes more.
Dear LETICIA: PineCone Research is ready to grow and we need your help!
If you have ever told a friend about doing surveys for PineCone Research, it is likely that they have asked, "How can I join?"
Well, now you can tell them how to become part of this elite group of households. We are offering select members the opportunity to recommend membership to a friend or relative who is NOT a member of their household.
Do you know of households that would like to join the PineCone Research Panel? If so, please FORWARD A COPY of this email to each household you would like to refer so that they may click on the registration link shown below. That household should complete the registration form themselves and submit it. REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER. Multiple registrations of the same Household will void all registrations.
Here is the link to the registration:

As a member in good standing, you've already seen the benefits of being part of PineCone Research. So please, share the benefits of membership with a friend. Just don't forget, please don't tell them about any of the products that you have seen in our questionnaires or tried in your home. Remember, it's important that your PineCone Research survey and product testing experiences remain confidential.
If your referral has any questions, they can email us at [email protected] or click on the attached links to learn more about PineCone Research.

It's just filling out surveys, and it's not much money. They send me checks in the mail, but I guess they are going to be switching over to paying via PayPal for people who want to do that. But it doesn't take up much of my time, so I guess it's OK. Occasionally they send surveys to you via email.

I am already a member, and I love it. Like internetchick said, it is not much cash, and I think it depends on your demographic. I used to get one survey a week or so when I was in college, and I would use that $5 (they recently reduced it to $3 and added drawings for bigger prizes) to go out for a beer on Friday :D. Now I am lucky if I get one survey a month, but the reward for each survey can be posted to a paypal account (or sent to you as a check if you like to cash $3 checks), so I just let the money collect there and forget about it until something on the swap boards catches my eye. Then I have a little extra cash to pay for it ;)
