I love the smell of the CV bars too! I have a drawer filled with them and I love opening it up.
My favorite is the Extra Honey and Beer shampoo bar.
Growing out my curls. White hair, fine to medium texture but a lot of it. Low to medium porosity. Botticelli curls -- 2c/3a mix. My hair loves protein.

:blob7: Yippee! Which ones did you get?

I used the Cucumber Lime Yogurt soap bar today on my hair and it feels sooo soft. I have also tried the Babassu Marsh Mallow and Rosemary Mint. They all smell heavenly! :angel7:

    Thanks everyone!

pigreyhound.....the extra beer and honey is the one I tried this morning....YUM......

Misspam, I got the honey egg and beer, extra honey and beer, and carrot and honey shampoo bars, and the carrot and honey soap, and a 2 oz whipped shea butter with no scent added, and a 0.5 oz whipped cocoa butter. OMG I LOVE THE COCOA BUTTER!!!!!! I've put it in my hair twice and I smell like chocolate! It works almost like a lightweight cream styler but with no hold.

Do you use it on your hair? I have unrefined shea that I use on mine, and another organic shea mix for hair too, that I use. I tried the whipped shea on my hair but I think my hair likes the cocoa butter even more. ;D

CV is a company called Chagrin Valley. You can get it at chagrinvalley dot com. They make handmade superfatted soaps, shampoo bars, etc. They've also signed the Contract from the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics to only use safe ingredients. That's a big plus for me.

Thanks for that bit of information rymorg2, I have been studying the cosmetics database for a couple of year to find products for my family and gradually switching over! Now, to know for sure if the bars WORK for me!
