I have a request...

I'm a BIG proponent of positive energy. That's a HUGE reason I was drawn to and stayed at this site.

Can we stop giving energy to this thread: I love MY HAIRRULES PRODUCTS! Some of you curly chicks are HATERS!?

It made me sad when I read it the first time. Now, I literally cringe every time I see the title pop up with a new response.

It's getting a little old anyway. You are all such lovely, sophisticated, knowledgeable women. Let's focus on our love of hair, love of ourselves, love of our sistas and their wellbeing and not this mess.

I totally agree. That is why I've been done with that thread a long time ago.

Right-on sistah!!! I've never been tempted to even look at it once, so I think I'm pretty good on the not-responding-to-any-of-the-posts part. If something could be potentially hurtful to my eyes, I heed advice and stay away from it. I'm a positive-energy type person myself and wish not to waste my time, nor energy on bull*ish. Thanks for taking the lead and kickin' off the crusade to save our own sanity. :icescream::icescream::icescream::icescream:

Yes, I agree. I'm a newbie and I don't want to be turned away by negative talk. Let's all just get along and respect each other differences.

I forgot about that thread. I think that in the big picture this website really doesn't have too many of those negative posts. In online communities people aren't always going to agree or be nice. Compared to other hair forums I subscribe to this one is pretty tame :laughing7:

I replied to the thread a few times in the beginning so I was getting the response notifications in my email. I just clicked the link in the email to "unsubscribe" so I don't get the email notifications of new posts. Hope that helps!
