Questions about the DY BHA's

I've been lazy. I'm finally getting ready to order BHA/SA samples unless I have to buy full sized) from DY. The PSF one had an AHA in it and burned.
I'm going to start with the 2%, but I'm not sure which version to use. I'll be using them for blackheads and as an anti inflammatory/redness reducer.
There is the exfol serum and the SA 2%. I was leaning towards the first as the second has alcohol in it. But, the second is just supposed to be left on for a few minutes and then wiped off, so I wasn't sure what it was supposed to be for.
I'd love any insight into this.
I'm almost out of my regular mask, so I'll be getting the DY version, which is menthol and eucalyptus free. Woohoo!

The Exfol is a little gentler, because it's pH is slightly higher (3.2 as compared to 1.9 for the other). With your ultra-sensitive skin, sounds like Exfol would be a good choice.
I've been using sulfur masks since you mentioned them here months ago. They really do reduce redness a bit, and I like how they help clear out pores near my nose (where I have a problem). I'll have to try the Vivant mask from DY next time.
I'm glad the sulfur is helping a bit with your redness. I learned about it from Dr. Leslie Baumann's book. She talks about prescription sulfur for redness.
The masks help with my nose blackheads too.
Right now, my daily routine is just the PSF Castille cleanser in the AM & PM, Balancing Oil in the PM, and a European sunscreen (for the extra UVA protection) in the AM. Even with just those two products, I've had oil reduction (and that's saying something in this weather) and slightly fewer blackheads. I look forward to adding a BHA.
I know some had have sensitivity issues with PSF Castille, but it works nicely for me, and so economical. One pump is enough.
I had the Berry Antioxidant sample from PSF and liked it and will get a full size soon. I just wish I could go there. The PSF shipping place is about 40 minutes from me, so it seems silly to pay the state tax and shipping.

You're in PA also, right? The sales tax just ticks me off so I've been buying PSF products from:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/pure-skin-formulations-organic-skin-care.htm
They're in WA, so I don't have to pay sales tax, and they charge a reasonable $4.97 shipping for small orders. The only disadvantage is not being able to take advantage of sales that PSF runs directly from their site.
Oh, thanks! Yes, avoid the sales tax, lol.
When I saw what city my packaged had shipped from, I thought - WTF, I can just drive there. I hate paying shipping for something one county away.
