Style For My Hair?

Ok, I need a change with my hair. I have natural curly hair and I haven't been able to do anything with it. Here are a couple of photos. (I know they're horrible, but bare with me.)

I’m not sure what to do with my hair, I know that I want my part gone, (I hate it) I was thinking of doing it like this girls hair.

So what do you think, I don’t want to go really short. If you could post photos or sites that would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance!

I'm going to be totally honest here. I totally lazily skimmed the first part of your post, and just clicked on the photobucket links.

Do you know what I thought?

"Right, pictures of a curly hair model, these must be the goal pictures of the poster."

That's what I thought. Then I re-read it and realized those were your pics. Holy crap, don't change a thing.

If the part bugs you, there is a thing in the Curly Girl book of how to get rid of it. You take one curl on the right, cross it over to the left. Take one curl on the left, cross it over to the right. Continue until the part is covered. It probably has to be kind of long in order to have the weight keep it in place, on shorter hair it would probably just flop back where it wants to.

Yeah, I'm gonna agree. I think your hair is beautiful. I was really bracing myself for the worst. Yours is anything but.

I guess we all want what we don't have.

If you really want hair like the video chick, all you'd probably have to do is roller set it with a good holding product.

Your hair is great. It's a lot curlier than the picture. Is that your issue? Are you looking for a little more style? beside changing the part? You could get it "shaped" but keep it long--like a elongated "U."

I'm not sure, I really like the way the girl in the videos hair is. Once I cut my hair it will get curlier. I just want a style to it, since I've worn my hair like that for 2 years.

Keep in mind that the girl in the video's hair is not as curly as you ,so anything you do to your hair will look different. If you're determined for a change, try looking at the 3b photo gallery. Find something you like with hair similar to yours.
