I know you guys get this a lot, but i am uber curious, am I a 3a or 3b? I just started using creme of nature today and the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]curl keeper[/buylink] and the biotera gel. I'm gonna try doing the no sulfates and cones thing to see how it goes :)

3a I think, because the curls are pretty big. was your hair wet? if not, how did you get it so shiny?!
3a. My hair does what it wants.. currently waiting for BKT treatment to go away.

I'd guess a 3a/b blend. Your curls start quick like a 3b, and the large size/curl diamter of the curl looks 3a

Actually, i took the pix right after i diffused, not sure how it got so shiny :) I think it's a combo of the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]curl keeper[/buylink]/biotera gel. Woohoo! Now i know my hair type! You both have VERY beautiful hair.

Your hair is really beautiful. So shiny. I'd say 3A, too. They aren't the tight corksrews I think of 3B.
3a (Corkicelli), highlighted, fine, low porosity

You have big beautiful shiny curls, I would say 3a. Maybe some 3b tendencies. Looks great keep up the routine whatever you are doing its working.
    Very Thick dry 3b BSL.
    Fine, medium porosity
Right now I am using GVP conditioning balm for cowash and RO,
    my hair loves protein.
for styling my base is BRHG I can use it alone but prefer with Curl Keeper. I sulphate poo once a month or so as needed.

I need to figure out how to post this stuff at the bottom of my signature! It took me a whole day to figure out how to post a picture there. Now I need to figure out how to include all the products I use.

I am a big fan of [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]curl keeper[/buylink]. I have tried Biotera gel (is that the right one guys?) and it's amazing too. It's like [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]curl keeper[/buylink], but a bit thicker. It can weigh my hair down, so I prefer [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]curl keeper[/buylink] unless I need extra hold!

If you go up top of the page, click on User CP. This is the User Control Panel. Then on the left, click on Edit Signature. A little box will come up and you type your stuff in there and click save. We're all wondering what you use!

I remember reading about the found HG and didn't know what HG meant, so I bookmarked the post.

I think if you read this post, it will give you all an idea of CalamityM's magic mojo (HG). Not sure if it's changed since the 12th of July though.

Instead of creating a new thread I will bump this one instead.

So my hair usually does this...

...so I was thinking that maybe it was 3b. However, in the past (this was several years ago, back when I was using this - anyone remember before they changed the formula a gazillion times?), it has done this:

...and that is with all the "poo" and "'cones" and stuff. I am wondering if it will kink up more with a CG routine.

I would call it 3b I think! Your hair is so pretty and that looks like a wonderful trip.

I know! I am really sensitive to perfumes, and I also tend to identify with the way people smell pretty strongly, so every time they changed it after that CurlVive stuff led to an allergic reaction that lasted a week and having to figure out how I smelled all over again. It has been terrible.

I think for those first three pictures I was still using their latest shampoo and conditioner combo. I have since switched to the Herbal Essences Totally Twisted set, which did wonders to my hair the first few times I have used it, and still works pretty well, although the definition gets lost sometimes. (Tonight was my first "no-poo" shower using just the Totally Twisted conditioner. We'll see how that goes.)
