Effective new routine!

I was reading about the ways people use Ava's combo and about how people plop. So I tried blot drying my hair, then scrunched in a lot of the Dual Water+Gel, then I plopped. After plopping for a few minutes, I took off the t-shirt, then smoothed some of the Tizz over the canopy and scrunched in it through my hair. Then I diffused using the pixie curl method. I had a lot of smaller curls, but I finally had better definition which is always my biggest problem.
My hair is a mix of 2b/3a and even a bit of 3b thrown in! I would call my hair wavycelli. It curls most when I leave it alone after wet scrunching. My hair has a spring factor of about 2 or 3 inches and has a very silky, medium texture.

I'll have to try this routine as I've been having success plopping before diffusing the last couple of days  . I haven't plopped yet with the Aussie combo, so I'm curious to see what the outcome will be (usually I begin diffusing asap after application).

Just be careful not to over blot dry your hair, mine seems to need some towel drying before the gel but not everyone's does. :)
