Irish Bananas (or variations on...) anyone?

My friend made these the other day and loved them. I want to give them a try but I don't have any Irish Whiskey on hand. Only regular Jack Daniels. Bad idea?

Generally outside of Irish Whiskey, has anyone does something similar with bananas?

We are big fans of Bananas Foster in my family. They're good with ice cream or French toast or pancakes...or just a fork.

This is the first version I found when I googled. It's not exact, just use what you have.

That does sound really good. Thanks for the link.

Jack Daniels should be fine. It's not classic Banana Foster but neither is it with Irish whiskey anyway.

Do you have any Coke? I'll be over later for a cocktail.
