HE Gels/Mousses, getting harder to find

MagooMagoo Posts: 2,173Registered Users
Has anybody else had trouble finding the HE gels/mousses? Especially the HEBE?
Right now, only my supermarket carries the HEBE gel. And last week, Rite Aid had the HE SMU products on clearance. I'm starting to worry that HE is gearing up for another reformulation or something.

I have never and I mean NEVER seen the HEBE gel yet. I have looked in all the places everyone on here suggests and I can only find the mousse. But yeah, I have noticed they seem to be disappearing from places like Walmart, Target, etc. And I wanted to try the Body envy gel soooo bad!

I have yet to see Body Envy gel in a store around here, either. I had to use drugstore.com to get mine.

When my 30-day product prison sentence is over, I want to get me some Totally Twisted mousse. Hope it's still available by then! (Or that that isn't yet another product in the HE line that might not be sold around here....)

Good trendspotting! HESMU is my HG gel...I may need to stockpile. I wish these manufacturer's would quit tinkering with a good thing. Thanks for the heads up!

Just FYI, having worked for Target for years they are very trend driven even in the hair products section! They might just be moving it out for shelf space to bring in some other trend specific lines. They even do this with boring things like air purifiers and fans. (Don't buy a purifier this season counting on them carrying the replacement filters next season.) Walmart is probably the same.

Just saying that just because it's not at Target doesn't necessarily mean HE is discontinuing or reformulating it.

I thought this was just going in my area.
I haven't been able to find HESMU for the past couple of months. I loved that stuff
I've tried Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS --nothing. I eventually had to suck it up and start trying new gels.

Ugh! Not good. Seems to be a trend everywhere. I guess stores are definitely making room for the next new wave in haircare products. And it's not only Target that isn't carrying the full line. I've noticed Rite Aid and Walgreen's has also limited the selection of HE stylers they carry.

Oh?...I actually just bought some HEBE and saw that Walmart still had the SMU too...

Where are y'all located? I am in the Twin Cities...maybe it hasn't hit us up here in the north yet.

If it is about to, I might freak and go buy all they have left...I really liked how thick the HEBE is. Feels like there is a lot more hold for me than the SMU. That is normal, right?
