Care Free Curl Instant Moisturizer

Good Morning Ladies,

Have any of you ever tried Care Free Curl Instant Moisturizer--as a moisturizer? I tried it last night and LOVE it!!! Last night I shampooed and conditioned my hair and then sprayed my hair with the Care Free Curl and twisted my hair up. This morning my twist out was super defined, SOFT and shiny!! I am in love. I read about this on another board and figured it wouldnt hurt to give it a shot. I am a 4b with no definite curl pattern just ALOT of tight coils and some straight hairs in the front. My hair loves this stuff. It curled up so beautiful that for once I didnt hate the way my hair looked as it began to dry up.

Before this I really liked Miss Jessie's Baby (despite the mineral oil) Buttercreame because it made my hair soft and it didnt shrink as much but after a few days I had build up. I have tried a few other products Qhemet's Alma & Olive Heavy cream.(made my hair shiny and soft but not as defined and still not as soft as the Carefree Curl). I also tried Sta Soft Fro but the smell was horrible and still didnt make my hair that soft.

The top ingredients in the Carefree Curl moisturizer is water and glycerine and my hair loves both.

Sorry that I do not have any pics but I dont have a digital camera.

Glad you found something that works, and you can find it locally! I think I read somewhere of a 4A-4B using StaySofFro and she cut it with an essential oil, like rosemary or something, and said it smelled better.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Sorry for the late response. Its a spray in and I got mine from Walgreens but they also carry it in beauty supply stores...And guess what ladies I am still in love. My hair is so incredibly soft and shiny---without any buildup! My best friend felt my hair the other day and couldnt get over how soft it was--she wanted to keep touching it....lol
