Drugstore sulfate-free shampoos?

I went to this site: /home/leaving?target=http%3A%2F%2Fhealthycurls.awardspace.com%2Ffree.html" class="Popup

to look for some clarifying shampoo's because I didn't do that from the start, so I was going to try and clarify and see if it makes a difference.

But for some reason, the page for sulfate-free shampoo's doesn't show up..

so could someone please give me some recommendations of drugstore sulfate-free shampoos?

Also, how exactly do I clarify??

Lastly, I was going to try another condish. and heard good stuff about Loreal nutri vive for people with wavy-ish hair?

Thanks :toothy7:

I got the page to work. What browser are you using? Sometimes that has a problem with causing pages to show up.

The page still won't show up so I think it's just my comp. or something (it's old ).

But I heard that Suave Clarifying shampoo is one you can use or not??

But I heard that it had DMDM, which is a preservative that works by releasing formaldehyde? Dangerous?

    Healthy Curls

    Sulfate, Protein, and Silicone-Free Products

This list started with this post on the naturallycurly.com message boards and has developed through the assistance of many helpful curlies, although anicetta on naturallycurly.com deserves special mention (and perhaps a bronze plaque) for her contributions.
I have not verified the ingredients lists and have also not tried most of these products, so this list should be considered a starting point only. You should still read the ingredients and look at reviews before considering buying any of these.

On that note, if you read the ingredients for any of these and notice any sulfates, proteins or silicones, please MUA mail me and let me know so I can remove it from the list! (And, conversely, please mail me and let me know if there's any products I should add!!)

I'm also having trouble accessing a page. It's the sulfates/cleansing page. Is that what you were talking about?

That list is for sulfate free shampoos. The Suave Clarifying poo has sulfates. If you are looking for something to clarify with and start with a "clean slate" prior to beginning CG, the Suave is good to use for that one time to get rid of any cones and buildup in your hair. I wouldn't use it as your regular poo if you want to stay away from sulfates. If you decide to do modified CG than you can use one of the poos on that list as your regular poo.
    HTH!:toothy7:
3b/c fine, thick, porous, protein sensitive
Modified CG, CJ Rehab, JCWDT, KCKT, VO5 Chamomile Tea Therapy, CJDF, HEBE Gel/Mousse, Bioinfusion Rosemary Mint shampoo, occasional protein

    Experimenting with BRHG

I also see that the Sulfates Cleansing page doesn't come up either. It goes directly to a different page for a different company. :laughing7:

I dont think she is updating that site anymore. It is a curlie on this site that did that. The information there is good but I think at some point she posted that she was not updating it anymore.
