I did it!!!!

I was inspired by so many of you ladies, that I just did it. I did a semi-big chop. I've been transitioning for about 17 months. Last week I was in Florida on vacation. My cousin is a hairdresser so I just had her cut off the relaxed and colored ends. I love my new do, although the family doesn't. I guess they're used to seeing me with the long hair. But it's so easy to manage and I love the natural, funky look. Check out my fotki for my new pics.

You truly have beautiful hair! I have no idea why anyone would disapprove of it. It's probably the shock of you changing what they've grown used to.
