    My sister had hair like yours as a kid too, really long, big hair. It got relaxed when she was young and she grew it out a couple of years ago (without a bc, too) and her hair is just as big and thick as it always was.

    Now, the texture, that's a different story.. that changes as you age, and you could have a slightly different texture now than what you had as a child. But as far as the length, yes, I would generally say you can grow your hair out to what it was before.

    Yes, It will grow back, but it will just take time and patience and gentle care.
