If anyone knows of any good ones in the South Bay? Preferably those who are Deva-trained (and have been confirmed by someone to be Deva-trained ;)).

pp - haven't been to her, or heard of her. Maybe you can go for a free consultation?

jm - If Menlo Park isn't too far for you to go, Teresa Callen is great! I think she's still working out of Opus Salon. I wish I had gone back to her this week instead of trying the new local guy that butchered my hair.

Curlilocks: Menlo Park isn't too bad :). I'm in San Jose, so it's about 45 min, maybe. It'd be worth it to have someone who knows what he/she is doing to cut my hair!

Here is her info and web page: http://www.imgarts.com/appointments.htm

I would call now for an appt. She books out months in advance. I just called to try to get her to fix my mess, but she's book thru Aug with one appt in June. If you go, tell her Sherri - CurliLocks from NC.com sent you!

You have beautiful hair. :) I think a devacut would really work well for you, and give you some balance with the top and lighten the bottom.

But it is expensive. How often do you get your hair cut now and how much does it cost? If you figure you'll only need a devacut every 4-6 months (or more) then you might be saving money. :D

Right now I only get my hair cut like every 6 monthes... and it only costs 15-20 dollars... haha, but they are really crappy hair cuts. i haven't layered my hair since I was 7, Im scared! Right now my hair is all the same length and I really wnat a cut! I called Teresa, and ya, she is booked through august, and I don't want to wait that long...

Whoa! Good heads up, thank you :).

Probably not a bad thing, though, since I'm still trying to grow my hair out :)
