Not sure how salty the language can be, so I played it safe. I'm feeling very fickle. Been using the Bioterra Curl Creme and liking it a lot. Yesterday was not quite as good. So today, I tried the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] I received in a swap. I have a new love! Who will, of course, desert me by the weekend. I did a few things differently today, because I had to be somewhere by 7:30. I used my new radiant heat dryer, for the second time. I plopped for about 5 minutes with a mf towel (which I don't generally do.) And [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. My growing out bangs are in spirals over my eyes. I have curls to my roots--even more than the Biroterra. My hair is soft, but I do have a little surface frizz. I can't seem to keep my hands off.

When he saw me start to diffuse, even DH remarked that it was going to be a good curl day!

I'd post pictures, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Hey, I think we all run a little fast and loose with products. There's a definite "What have you done for me lately?" attitude that develops after a while. If a product fails to perform one day, we do what comes naturally -- replace him -- I mean "it" -- with something that does (or seems likely to. A girl's gotta look out for her curls, you know? Hearts may be broken in the process.
3a and strictly CG since August 2007. Porous and on the fine side. No to magnesium sulfate and glycerin. Yes to protein! Favorites:

But why oh why is it always mine?

Personally, I have always been fond of the Elizabethan term "strumpet" -- a product strumpet....

And aren't we all product strumpets??? I honestly think that even if I found my HG, I would still wonder if some other magical elixir would be even better.
Growing out my curls. White hair, fine to medium texture but a lot of it. Low to medium porosity. Botticelli curls -- 2c/3a mix. My hair loves protein.
    CG since '08.

Cleanser: (Summer) Beautiful Curls Nurturing shampoo or Kathymack's soap bars
    Co-wash: TJ Nourish
    Protein: CJ Repair Me
Styling products: (Summer) BB Styling Mudd
Gel: (Summer) BRHG, Upper Management gel.

Strumpet--it's perfect. I spent all day trying to think of a word to use! It's not the obsession that's so bad, it's the guilt I feel for abandoning the product I loved three days ago!

Funny thing...a coworker and I were harassing our boss (male) about hording files. We called him a file wh*re. His reply? "Wh*re nothing! I do it for free! I'm a file sl*t!"

Guess I'm a product sl*t. Or maybe a pimp...I do pay for the product, after all!

Yeah, I'm more of a product john. Most of the time I just want to talk though, really.

Haven't we already had this discussion? It seems somehow familiar...our secret lives. And you talking your neighbor into dying her hair so you could take the bad picture for your avatar. That we're all just psycho, bald, fat men who have a secret obsession with curly hair?

Since I'm an old, bald, psycho fat man...Talking is all I can do! Ha!

Stop admitting it. It is ruining the moment. I'm just going to go have a conversation with my Biotera Gel now. It always says what I want to hear.

I would invite AOHR too, but I don't like her perfume.

I'm a product whore, no hiding it.. Think I'll change it to strumpet though, like that better than PJ or other.

I name my hair products and have an emotional attachment to them. I feel sad when my product runs out.

Of course, I name nearly everything, but still, I love my hair stuff. Including barettes, hair-ties, flexi-8 (must get another), clips, and headbands. And my secret love, hairspray. It's my hair crack. What's yours?

Aw, Hairspray. *sighs in nostalgia* You always remember your first, even after you end up utterly regretting him. Uh, I mean it. 8-)

Wait, you remember your first? Oh, geez...I think I've had way too many in my life. I can't even count them. Time for counseling.

I hear ya -- I usually have great results with FSG and a little [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]. Well of course today is my hospital volunteer day and after diffused, looked like curly noodles. So I ran some AO manarin jelly through it and blew it out on high/cool without diffuser to get some of the noodles loose -- forget about it -- nothing worked -- wore it like it was and got many compliments anyway -- maybe we are just never happy LOL!!! On to continue searching for the HG that will work on demand!!!!
Homemade FSG, CK, KCCC and BRHG. Co wash w/Suave, or soap bars (occasionally) or Come Clean (Kinky Curly).

Hee hee, I missed this thread the first time around. Very funny, Kathymack!

All I can picture is Bill Murray in "Tootsie," saying, "You slut!" (oops, can I say that? I'm only quoting!!!) But I prefer the term "strumpet." Product Strumpet. Trips off the tongue nicely, doesn't it?

I don't think the rules of monogamy apply to hair products. At least, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    Wurly and proud!

Isn't that just the truth. We are our hardest critics. I have hair days where I would love to be able to find that ponytail holder that I know was in the bottom of my purse, and everyone tells me how great my hair looks. Go figure.

How about a product courtesan? That sounds more genteel.

Although it may be true to say that we are more like John's often paying for a one night stand (or maybe a few nights), just to ditch it for something more attractive....

I prefer to think that I am more of a King with a slew of concubines! I may not stick with just one, but my relationship is more long term, just depends on my mood!

You all are cracking me up. I confess that I, too, am a product strumpet. But I keep returning to my favorites so I like to say that it's not so bad..... Right????
Hair Type: 4a/4b with splatters of 3c. Cottony with severe shrinkage.

    Products:
No Poo: DevaCurl No Poo or KC Come Clean.

Conditioner: One-C layered under AOHSR lightly rinsed out and mostly left in.

Stylers: MOP C-System Curl Defining Cream (replacing KCCC!!!) with water sprayed on top to make curls POP!!!

Treatments: GPB 2x month. AOHSR deep condition 2x month. But lazy!!!!

STILL trying for 2day and 3day hair.
