I know this was posted on the curly forum but do any of you apply dts on dry hair?

sometimes. i read soemwhere that doing it on dry hair helps the hair absorb the deep treatment better than doing it on wet/damp hair

OK, I'll try this and see how it turns out.

It depends on the type of treatment I'm doing. If it's my ORS Hair Mayo mix, I'll do it on dry hair, because there is a lot of moisture in the treatment to aid in combing it through. If I'm doing a honey/olive oil treatment, I moisten my hair, or else I wouldn't be able to comb through.

I usually dt after shampoo, so it's damp, but I CW on dry hair (because I use heat plus olive oil and honey, I guess it's a DT).
