New Zadie Smith!!!

It's titled On Beauty and is getting fab reviews. I was really disappointed in the follow up to White Teeth, which is one of my favorites.

Me too, although I really liked Autograph Man. It wasn't on the level of White Teeth but it was still really good.

Zadie Smith and Alice Munro are my two favorite authors. I start to drool when there is an opportunity to read something new from them.

I met Zadie Smith at a book signing last night. I was wearing a soccer t-shirt and she asked if I was any good. She said she was never very good when she tried to play as a kid.

So, there's a fun fact about Zadie Smith, I guess. :?

Yep. It was at Olsson's, which is on 7th St., NW near MCI Center. She read for about 20 minutes and answered questions for another 10. That part kind of sucked because there were probably 300+ people there and most people (including me) couldn't hear or see her. But I waited around and eventually got to meet her and she signed my book.
