Artificial nails WITH one of a kind handpainted art!

Ok, I've been doing this for a few years, and I really want to spread my wings with it. I've been doing my own nails since I was in 6th grade (I know, I know *lol*), and have always strived to do something new and different with my art. I can't remember the last time I just painted my nails a single color and didn't go crazy looking at a blank canvas!

ETA: I just opened an etsy shop, and I will be listing my fist set of nails there later today. My plan is to paint two sets each evening and list one every day until I have none to list...which should take about 100 years, according to DH. :laughing7:

Anyway, www.dragonflynailz.etsy.com is the shop - visit often!!!

Thanks for looking, and PM me if you have any questions!!!

Ignore the geocities site - just check out the shop at http://www.dragonflynailz.etsy.com (I edited my OP and removed the geocities site link so as not to confuse anyone further).

I have much improved since the days of my Yahoo! site, and I'm almost embarassed to have people see the semi-childlike stuff I used to do!

Anyway, I'm doing all kinds of classy, sophisticated and wildly bright and fun designs these days. Lots of florals (because that's what it turns out I'm good at :laughing7: ) But I can do just about anything you can think of! If you need something you don't see in my shop or albums, ask me! We'll figure it out together!

Hmmm...maybe I should add an album of my designs in my fotki!!

Those are very nice! Actually, that's pretty amazing!
I love crafts, too. I make a lot of glass beaded jewelry. :toothy7:

    Thanks, Rose! :toothy7:

Do you sell on Etsy? If not, you should. It's a great place!

Actually, I do have an account there. I haven't sold anything on it yet. I tried listing a bracelet around Christmas, and no one bought it, so I just haven't bothered again. I have some pictures in my Fotki, though... http://public.fotki.com/mountainrose/mountainrosejewelry/

Ahhh - you see, I learned (right away, thankfully) that at Etsy, you must promote yourself and keep yourself at the top of the categories, plus get people to heart you by having lots and lots of posts in the forums and maing yourself very visible. It took me about a month to make my first sale, and now I get a custom order about once or twice a week.

I will tell you though, that unless you have a pretty unusual style, jewelry is a tough category to crack. But your stuff is very pretty! You should really give it another shot, and don't just list one item - it's not like ebay...it only costs 20 cents for a four month listing. :tongue5:
