a few plopping problems..

So I have been trying to plop in the morning and it has definitly been making my hair curlier but i have a few questions..

I have like a perminant part right down the center of my head, so when i turn my hair over to put it into the plop, and then when I take it off it kindof falls back into place but then it is all screwed up on top and frizzy, is there anyhting I can do about that?

Also, is it better to apply product right side up and then into a plop, or flip your hair over and apply it upsidedown before putting it into a plop?

Thanks for Your help!!!:thumright:

Unforutately, it doesn't seem that one type of plopping fits all. :(

For me, if I plop anymore than 5 minutes and my hair is anything less than dripping wet, I get frizz.

I apply my product upside down before plopping. And I apply a small amount of gel after plopping also upside down.

I expect it will take some trial and error to find the perfect plop.

You have very pretty hair so you're doing something right. :)

I have that problem and I've been trying to plop in a different way. I put the microfibre towel around my shoulders and carefully pull it up at the sides, drawing it in towards the top middle of my head. Then I put a scrunchie around the gathered ends to hold it in place. That's probably as clear as mud! If I try doing it upside down I get that messed up part business, and however careful I am to rearrange the curls, I get frizz. This way works better for me but it's not very easy to do.

I've read that others use a pointed tail-ended comb to lift curls back into their proper place afterwards.

Since I've switched to the Curlease towel from the MF one, I get no frizz and I also don't get squished down at the crown. I also plop when my hair is very wet.
