What does it mean when a product has good slip?

    It's talking about the amount of lubrication it feels like it is bringing to your hair. "Slipperiness" if you will.

    It seems to make little difference to the ultimate result in most ways, with one major exception: detangling.

    Easiness of application; how smoothly it goes through your hair or on your skin. The opposite of slip is drag; product that "pulls" skin or hair during application.
