How to conceal a bruise?

I'm always bumping my legs which I usually don't remember but very often when I put on a skirt I notice a bruise that I don't remember getting. Is there a good concealer for that? Should I go lighter or yellower or what? I'm going to have a big one on my knee in a day or so because I hit it on my dashboard yesterday. What a klutz.

yellow concealer works on bruises - i get them a LOT myself.

but for something on your legs, i would do something like a Covermark foundation in a colour matching your skin tone because regular concealer will wear off during the day.

I've heard it also helps to "comb" the bruise. You push the blood (underneath the skin) in every direction with a comb to help disperse it faster.

No! Do not do this. This can cause the damaged and weakened blood vessels to open up more and increase the severity and size of the bruise.

Okay, I won't comb. Funny, I had a dream about bruised legs last night. Probably b/c I bought some Physicians Formula concealer yesterday. And today I have no bruises to try it on.

I play soccer regularly and as a result, have the same problem you do.

As cheesy as it sounds, that sally hansen air brush makeup for legs actually does work and it only comes off with soap and water.

I get the same thing and can't wear skirts for weeks (my dog unintentionally does it by pawing me for attention). Donnell makes a cream that can help heal the bruises. Dermablend makes the best concelers though. I've used them for special events. Some of the cover ups tend to smudge, so a good way to apply them is to do it right out of the shower so it will spread more evenly.
