Foods your toddler likes

S likes strong tasting foods. Although we had feeding issues in the past...heck he did not eat when he was born and it was a constant struggle, it seems that is all out the window.

"Weird" food he likes (not weird but weird that a toddler would like them)

Spinach dip
Quiche
Hummus
anything greek or mexican or thai

My daughter likes all the normal kid stuff, but she also really likes Thai, Chinese, and Mexican food, too. She really pretty much eats anything I give her...she just likes some things more than others. I'm just waiting for the picky toddler thing to kick in, but so far, so good!

Mine likes every food on the planet except onions and baked potatoes. She really likes cheese, especially pepper jack cheese.

The usual cheeseburgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese
olives (any kind, mild or stinky)
    cheese (also any kind)
sausage and pretty much any cured meat
    caviar
    chicken, especially on the bone
    Any and all fruit
    spanakopita
    hummus
    taramasalata
    gyoza/dumplings
    creamed spinach
    fruit of any kind
the fake crab from inside california rolls
    noodles/pasta
    eggs
    cottage cheese
    tuna salad
    meat loaf
    carrots
    sweet potatoes

He likes some pretty strong tasting stuff too and is a good eater. Lately he is into this thing where he likes to say "I don't like..." just to be contrary but I find that if I pay no attention he is likely to eat it happily next time (or even 3 minutes later)

Oh, I just remembered...my daughter hates sushi rice. She likes every other kind of rice (brown, white, fried, Spanish, etc.) but she doesn't like the rice vinegar, I guess.

Chas doesn't like anything spicy. I blame us for this because of his reflux...we hestitated giving him anything with a lot of spices. Hopefully he'll change quickly because daddy and I like spices.

My son never met a food as a toddler that he didn't like. I fed him everything we ate but didn't introduce candy or sodas until he was a little bit older. He's almost 12 years old now and still eats nearly everything.
