Any recommendations?

I have oily skin, but find I can wear Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SunBlock without too much trouble.
If you're skin isn't oily, you probably have more options available, since sunscreen tends to clog pores.

I have read a couple of additional things about how to make sunscreen more effective - first, don't trust a high SPF too much - some say that there isn't realistically any SPF higher than 20. In other words, reapply throughout the day. The other problem is that people apparently don't apply enough of it. You have to apply it so it looks pretty thick and white at first, and let it soak in well

There's other things to know - the chemicals involved - parsol, zinc, avobenzone, etc, - and whether they form a chemical or physical barrier, and whether they address UVA or UVB rays, but perhaps others on this board know more about this than I do.

People on this board also like mineral makeup, which has a natural SPF of about 15. Again, if you are using this as sunblock, you do need to reapply.

    That's all I got!
3A - fine, just above shoulder length, w/red color and highlights.

Product: Suave Coconut leave in, Joico Joiwhip mousse, Angell or F/X Curl booster on wet hair. Sometimes rotate in ReCoil/CK.

Routine: Scrunch with cloth diapers, then use Shellynot's clipping method. Diffuse a bit without touching hair. Leave clips in at least half and hour. Remove clips and air dry.

    Day 2: Pineapple, no product.

DT once a week with DevaCare OneC

this is the one that LOTS of curlies recommend.

don't forget to wear DARK sunglasses so you don't squint - a major cause of crow's feet.

Thanks for the suggestions, i'll check them out!

I think i have combination skin. Cheeks and nose are extremely dry but I have blemishes on my chin and forehead.

My Diana Yvonne order came in the mail today (SA 2% and the wheat germ cleanser) so I hope things will get better from now on.

I can't seem to find the Neutrogena sun block in the Netherlands. Any other recommendations? (like: l'oreal, roc, vichy, biodermal??)

Or are there certain ingredients to avoid?

La Roche Posay makes sunscreen with mexoryl, which protects against UVA and UVB rays.

^^^ No-Ad is too greasy for your face - save it for your body.
