More dryer angst

I just bought a diffuser for my hairdryer, thinking maybe I'd try it with the finger type (I have a hot sock) and see how it worked. I don't usually diffuse but I've been getting tired of going out with wet hair.

I bought a conair diffuser because I have a conair dryer, guessing the "universal fit" HAD to work. Well, guess what?

It doesn't fit. :angry7:

Yep, it is definitely frustrating. Because of this, the last time I just looked for a dryer that came with a diffuser, so I'd know it would fit. I have a hot sock, too, but I like scrunching my hair up in the bowl type.

Ok...new dryer. I got the conair yellowbird because it looked like it would fit (it does) and because having a bright yellow hairdryer appeals to my art deco sensibilities.

Having gotten a bit of extra money (yay) I promptly sashayed off in search of more products I don't really need but want to try, like:

    AOHR
    a big wide-tooth comb
    Generic Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam
    Biotera Curl Cream

I'm hopeless. But I shall report back on my results, as usual! :salut:

Definitely let us know about the Biotera. I am looking to replace my curls rock with that when I finish my bottle.

I like the Biotera Curl cream - all except the smell. It is very perfumey to me.
