I have been researching products to use now that I am trying to go no or low poo. I am using the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCare-Low-Poo-p-466.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacare-lowpoo]DevaCare low-poo[/buylink] when my scalp needs to be cleaned (every 4 days or so). I have seen that a lot of people love the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-Angell-p-57.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacurl-angell]DevaCurl Angel[/buylink]l but notice that it has PEG-7 amodimethicone in it. PEG-7 amodimethicone is not water soluble...how are people able to use it and not get the buildup?
Currently, using JC HCC, Too Shea, CK and CCSS, RR or LOOB or MOP-C.
CK is the one!!

as of 6/17/10 - I have to add Joico!

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names and each is a different color. But they all have to learn how to live in the same box. ~Anonymous

I think any PEG modified cone is water soluable but I'm no expert.

Favorites: Anything from Curly Kinks...their system is my new holy grail. Still liking Juice Organics Orange and TJ Refresh Conditioners as all purpose co-wash and rinse outs.

Thanks, after reading your post, I did some good ole fashioned researching. I found this site:

    http://www.personalcare.noveon.com/TechnicalDataSheets/TDS-321_SilSense_A-21_A-23.pdf

It does say that it is not suitable for leave-on skincare. They are soluble in ethanol and water, but insoluble when used with mineral oil and isopropyl myristate. I wonder what the implications of that are.

Cones that have the PEG-number in front of them are modified cones, which means they are water soluble.
