Hey just moved to Birmingham, recently in Montgomery. Anyway, where do you guys get your hair cut?

    Hi Sonny!
I just got my hair cut yesterday by Danna at Sanctuary in Birmingham. She did a good job and really went into detail about how to prep and style curly hair. She doesn't use the Deva method and cuts hair wet, not dry as Lorraine Massey recommends. It's a little expensive ($65) and prepare to be urged to purchase Kerastase mousse. I ended up paying over $100. Although I like the cut, it cost more than what I think it was worth and I'll probably go somewhere else next time.

I live in Tuscaloosa. No curl specialists here (or at least none that I know about). I did get mine cut recently at Tera Lane. She did a good job, for not being a curl specialist.
I wish I could find one though!
    Very Curly and Thick hair.
    3a/b.
I think I have medium hair with normal to high porosity. And I need all the moisture I can get!!

    Currently using:

C: Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Smoothing
    S: Ouidad CQ/Pureology Hydrate

    LI: AG Fast Food

Stylers: AG Re:coil (super soak), then CIAB and some CHS CK on top.

    **trying CCCC & Beuticurls LI

Style: scrunch and finger curl where I see the hair is not clumping well. Diffuse.
