Do you use a sulfate shampoo?

I asked a question about shampoo and I think there are more of you out there that poo! So I thought if I ask in a easier way I might get more results.

Do you use a sulfate shampoo?
How many days a week?
What do you use?

Thanks!

I do use sulfate shampoos but I go for the moisturizing ones like TIGI Moisture Maniac. I've tried doing the no poo things a few times in the past 5 years and I always end up with stringy curls and no definition. I have 3B hair and get product build up. I never felt like the vinegar rinses got it out and when I would switch back to shampooing it was like a whole new head of hair. I realize everyone is different and for some curlies shampoo is not the route to take. I also like to use silicone products so without using a sulfate shampoo I just don't get consistent results w/my products. Just my experience.
3B: very thick, fine, easily weighed down by products

    Current styling products:
Biolage Gelee or BRHG on top of
KCKT as a leave in or CK when humid
or just Joiwhip alone for moderate weather conditions

I don't use a sulfate shampoo. I either use a non-sulfate poo or lemon juice mixed with CO, every once in a while. All of my other products are CG too. (:

I wash with both sulfate free and sulfate shampoos. I normally use Pureology once or twice a week, which is sulfate free, but I also use a volumizing shampoo when my hair starts to flatten out.

I use sulfate free shampoo about once/wk. I use Creme of Nature and a Burt's Bees shampoo. I probably won't get the Burt's Bees again b/c it's more expensive and I don't feel like it gets my hair as clean.

I use a sulfate shampoo daily.
(oops hit enter too soon lol)
I use regular old suave shampoo right now. I'm searching for a more moisturizing or sulfate free shampoo that agrees with my scalp.
My hair is doing fine though with it. I just make sure I condition well. I use a heavier leave in conditioner and some peach oil in my regular rinse out to replace oils I've washed out.
Ironic since my hair looks like crap if I don't shampoo daily. Apparently it's not my hair oils its........ umm dunno but it's something lol
    2c/3a?
    Low porosity, medium texture.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

I do! I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture shampoo. It's a low/gentle sulfate shampoo that doesn't leave my hair squeaky. I find that it tends to be more gentle than the sulfate free shampoos I have used such as Giovanni 50/50 and Avalon Organics with mild cleansers.

I usually use it every other shower or so. I try to alternate with a conditioner wash when my hair doesn't feel too gunky.

Yes, I use sulfate shampoos and also non-sulfate shampoos. I shampoo every single day so I try and use mild products most of the time. My "main" shampoo is Eluence (sp?). In my shampoo rotation are [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Hair-Cleansing-Cream-p-103.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-hair-cleansing-cream]Jessicurl HCC[/buylink], Pureology Hydrating, Pureology Nanoworks, and even a few Matrix/Biolage shampoos.

My hair looks best if I shampoo daily, but has really looked great since I have been using milder shampoos and found some really great conditioners.
2/b-2/c - I shampoo daily with non-sulfate shampoos - right now am *loving* L'Oreal Everpure shampoo and conditioner
For styling: homemade flax seed gel, Curl Keeper, and/or KCCC
    Current favorite product: *KCCC*!!

Thank you for your replies. I have been having a hard time finding anything. I think in part b/c I am not real sure what I am looking for...LOL. Most of what I see on bottles has a lot of oil in it. When I tried a few with oil in it it seems to stay on my hair an almost be greasy. I liked the the AG in the way it was creamy, but it was a bit much. I think I might try Pureology if I can get it cheaper, I would prefer to find something like it, for less money. If there was such a thing

I have a pretty hard time finding sulfate free products in the UK, especially in Boots and Superdrug, there are so few products stocked there.

I only use sulfate free shampoos....I avoid sulfates in my skin care too!

I am looking for a shampoo that has sulfates, not one without. I am not on CG but I do try to be careful about what I use in my hair. I wash my hair every day, most of the time. I just find I cannot go two days without it looking awful. Basically I am just trying to find a shampoo that will not dry my hair, or leave an oily film on it. The non-sulfates just do not seem to clean it well-enough. I have colored my hair recently. I tried an AG shampoo that was for color treated, it was creamy, alomost like a condtioner and it seemed to do well but at times it seemed to almost build up. So...that said...I am on the hunt for something that combines all of that, if it is out there! I have tried EMBS, did not work for me.

I've used Suave Water Lily and Aloe (does have sulfates). It was very gentle and I liked it a lot.

Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey Shampoo and Dove Cool Moisture Shampoo are pretty good sulfate shampoos. They don't have any silicones, which is a plus.
    2a/M-C/ii hair. Super long.
