Wow - I have to get rid of a lot of products

I've been educating myself of the healthiest products for my hair. Last night I pulled everything from my cabinets and shower and was amazed at how many of them were detremental to my hair's health.

Pantene - Relaxed & Natural, Daily Oil Moisture Cream
Hairobics - Water Retention Shampoo, Conditioner and hair/scalp booster
Bed Head - Moisture Maniac, Shampoo and Conditioner
Alberto V05 - Tea Therapy Clarity Revitalizing White Tea Shampoo
Clairol - Texture & Tones, Ultra Moisture Shampoo
Elasta QP - Recovery Oil Moisturizer
John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Dream Curls
Soft & Beautiful - Botanical Lite Creme Moisturizer

I have local access to purchase oils (jojoba, etc.) and will continue to educate myself on treating my hair with the respect it deserves.

Thanks to SunRae84, E.B. and SuburbanBushBabe.

Thanks to SunRae84, E.B. and SuburbanBushBabe.

I'm glad I could help! I know that it's hard to find products with quality ingedients. Manufacturers like to use ingredients that are cheap for them, but those ingredients aren't always good.

SunRae84, health food stores or vitamin stores near you should carry natural oils.

Moisture Maniac conditioner should be okay, it has a minor cone if you are going to be a CG purist, but I think it's a water-soluble cone.

Good for you! A good on-line source of oils is mountain rose herbs and from nature with love. I've only bought from MRH but I love the FNWL selection - everything! I use grapeseed oil, tamanu oil and castor oil. I want to try coconut cream.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
