Confused about ingredients

I bought what I thought was Jojoba Oil but it has other stuff in it too- Petrolatum, soybean oil, Cyclomethicone, Lanolin, Paraffin, coconut oil, jojba oil, castor oil, isopropyl, myristate, tocopheryl, vit e, benzocaine, citral, citronellol, coumarin, dlimonene, linalool, BHT

Does anyone know if it is CG or if it will be good or bad for my hair?

That oil isn't CG, unfortunately. Petrolatum, paraffin (both petro-chemicals), and lanolin are difficult to remove (i.e. you have to use sulfates I believe). Cyclomethicone is a water-insoluble silicone that isn't as difficult to remove but needs a sulfate or cocamidopropyl betaine to remove. I personally would not let that go near my hair.

Desert Essence brand has 100% pure jojoba oil (I just bought some the other day) and that should work much better for your hair.

    HTH! :)
    2a/M-C/ii hair. Super long.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I was wrong about those ingredients being bad. Oh well. Another product bites the dust.
